About this blog
From mapping the earth to navigating the cloud, my journey from studying Geo Sciences to AWS consultant, Team Lead and Cloud Platform Architect has been anything but conventional. This unexpected path has given me a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed in tech - especially when you're starting from square one.
What I do here
I share what I've learned about bridging the gap between technical expertise and personal growth, focusing particularly on helping other professionals who might be feeling the way I once did. Through my experiences with AWS, team collaboration, and creating inclusive workspaces, I've come to understand that growing in tech involves:
- Finding your path in career transition
- Building confidence in technical environments
- Balancing technical learning with personal growth
- Learning from challenges and setbacks
- Being part of a supportive community
Why I do it
I remember clearly how it felt to be new to tech, often being the only woman in the room, learning an entirely new field while trying to find my footing. The journey had its share of challenges, and I had guides along the way which supported me.
That’s why I created this space to be that support especially for women, to share my experience and lessons learned hoping they may help others on similar paths. To show that with persistence and support, change is possible.
